Winless in their opening eighteen League matches at Hillsborough this season, the Owls equal Sunderland’s record, set in the Premier League in 2005-2006 and become just the second club to fail to win any of their opening eighteen home games of a League campaign in English League history.

Wednesday also become just the third team in Championship history to go eighteen home games without a win in a single season - a record first set by Birmingham City in 2013-2014 and then repeated by Wigan Athletic the following season.
