Wednesday are absolutely robbed by the officials in this match. Huddersfield's equalising goal is clearly handled by Town's centre-forward Wilf Lewis on to Alex Jackson, who hesitates clearly expecting the whistle to blow. He puts the ball into the net but doesn't celebrate, again waiting for the referee to disallow the goal. The referee consuilts with a linesman, but curiously not the one on Jackson's side of the pitch and the goal is allowed. Then with Wednedsay desperately pushing for an equaliser, Jack Allen "scores" only for the referee to blow for time just as Allen struck the ball. The spectators don't know if the goal has been allowed or not. Did the referee blow up short of time or fail to add time on for stoppages? Many would say so...
