While Wednesday are losing to Champions elect Newcastle United, Sheffield United are playing Bury at Bramall Lane.  Five minutes before half-time, Bury defender Sam Wynne bends down to place the ball for a free-kick and collapses.  He is stretchered off the pitch and a few minutes later news comes from the dressing room that tragically the player has died.  The match is of course abandoned.  The Sheffield Green 'un reports that the tragedy must be almost unique in the history of professional football.
