Wednesday are relegated to the 2nd Division (Tier 2).

After narrowly avoiding relegation the previous season, Wednesday are relegated to the 2nd Division.  As is often the case when a side is relegated, Wednesday don't get a lot of luck with injuries and illness in the camp, but it's a really poor season for the Owls.  It's the away form that ultimately costs them their place in the top flight, Wednesday picking up just one away win all season and a total of nine away points.  Wednesday's run of just two wins from the final twelve matches, losing nine of them sees them finish rock bottom.  Interestingly Manchester United are relegated and Manchester City win the Championship.
