Going into the final match of the season, the bottom four teams are all on 37 points and Tottenham who have played all their matches are on 38 points.  With a superior goal average to all of them, Wednesday need just a point to pull off the "great escape".  Thankfully Wednesday win comfortably and remarkably finish 14th with seven teams all on 39 points.  Tottenham and Middlesbrough are relegated with 38 and 37 points respectively.  See below for the final round of results and the before and after tables.
