Arsenal manager Herbert Chapman dies from pneumonia in the early hours of the morning of the match aged just 52.  News of his death comes as a great shock to the officials of Arsenal who didn't realise the severity of his illness.  Four trumpeters play the last post before the kick-off and the flags are at half-mast.
